About Patti Smith's autobiography "Just Kids" (2011): "I want to live like Patti. I want to write like Patti. The book was so honest and brave. I loved the way she sees the world. I really felt that life was more beautiful after I read it, and I felt more hopeful."

They are currently running a poll on who fans think will be the most successful after HP. They are also doing something they call My CeleBFF, where they ask fans to send in photos of themselves with members of the HP cast and they’ll feature it on their site. You can read more about it here.

Now let’s take a break from videos with a few scans.

Premiere magazine from France has a Harry Potter special in their next issue. They have a few preview pages on their website, including this one of Emma, with another photo by Mariano Vivanco. That’s a rather different look. The issue comes out tomorrow. If anyone can send us some scans we’d appreciate it.

Emma in Harper’s Bazaar – Behind the Scenes Video

In this behind-the-scenes video from Harper’s Bazaar, Emma tells us “the idea for the shoot was to have two really contrasting looks”. For the darker side, she says the photographer had to keep reminding her to ‘Be a bitch, look hard’. She found the “innocent, pretty look” much easier, but added “It was really fun, I was able to play two different characters.”

Entertainment Weekly Collector Issue

The current issue of Entertainment Weekly is a ‘Special Collector’s Double Issue with 5o pages devoted to Harry Potter. Their are exclusive interviews with the cast and crew, unseen behind-the-scenes photos, and a wealth of HP information. Emma’s interview and photos that include her have been uploaded to our gallery.

As a preview of the issue, Entertainment Weekly also posted some photoshoot images and a couple behind the scenes shots on their site.

The Last Days on Harry Potter

A new video from Warner Bros. shows us the “Last Days” of filming for several principal cast members and the trio. David Thewlis, Alan Rickman, Robbie Coltrane and Helena Bonham-Carter all take their bows as they say farewell. Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Helena, David Heyman and David Yates share their thoughts on the last day of filming, and then Daniel gives an emotional speech on the final day, and then hugs Rupert and Emma.

“I don’t know, how do I put that into words. What an incredible experience. I just feel so blessed that I was chosen. I was given the chance to experience all of this, and have this be part of my life.

We were the chosen ones. Yeah. Yeah, we were.

Yeah, very lucky.” – Emma Watson

Hopefully Warner Bros. will release this in HD. I think this is the best featurette they’ve done, and I hope we can get it without subtitles and logos.

Emma Covers Harper’s Bazaar UK

Emma Watson is on the cover of UK Harper Bazaar’s August issue. Previews of the cover and a number of photos have been previewed by the Daily Mail along with some excerpts from the interview. It’s a “good girl” “bad girl” idea behind the photoshoot, light colors and flowers vs. black and strong poses. There will be a normal cover wth Emma as the good girl, and a special subscriber cover showing her other side. The August issue goes on sale in the UK this week.

About leaving Brown

‘Leaving Brown had nothing to do with bullying, as the media have been suggesting recently. I have never been bullied in my life. Like a lot of other students at Brown, I might spend my third year abroad.’ When asked why she didn’t originally chose an English university, Watson explained: ‘I felt suddenly very claustrophobic…I thought, “I can’t stay here, I won’t be able to concentrate, I won’t be left alone.”‘

Trouble playing the bad girl

‘My acting tutor said the hardest thing for me was to get angry. I almost broke down in tears when they tried to get me to be angry. I said, “I can’t do it, I just can’t do it.” ‘I keep all of that really bottled up somewhere and I feel unleashing it would be the scariest thing – and to let myself be powerful, sexy, all those things, it’s scary for me. [Even playing the bad girl in this shoot] felt a bit uncomfortable and awkward, it didn’t come naturally at all.’

“There has never been room in my life for that [rebellion] – I couldn’t imagine giving my family any more trouble, it’s already been complicated enough.”

“My dad is one of the top international-communications lawyers in the country, and trying to argue with him was a nightmare, so I learnt quite quickly to be good with words. My mum is an incredible woman. She moved back from Paris with my brother and me after the divorce, and worked full-time, supporting both of us. But I felt I wanted to take care of her – I didn’t want to give her a hard time.”

About the Hollywood lifestyle

‘LA scares the c**p out of me. I feel if I have to work out four hours a day, and count the calories of everything I put in my mouth, and have Botox at 22, and obsess about how I look the whole time, I will go mad, I will absolutely lose it.’
