People Tree sent over the first photo from Emma’s new 2011 Spring/Summer collection. This is Emma’s third, and final, collaboration with the Fair Trade company. More images will be released February 25, and the collection will launch on February 28.

Emma-Watson.net now has a facebook page. Many people have made the suggestion, so now for all you facebook fans, you can find us here.

We would also like to welcome Dazza to the EW.net team who will be in charge of the facebook page. Dazza has been a dedicated fan of Emma for a long time. You may know him as dazza_stoke on the forums, and you old-timers may remember him as a staff member on the site back when Jo was the webmiss. Welcome Dazza!

A new photo of Emma by Harry Crowder has appeared. The photoshoot took place on December 30 in Emma’s home according to a tweet on Crowders twitter. Thanks to all who emailed.

The February Calendar Competition has now started.

• The size of the calendar should be at least 1024×768. Higher resolutions are good. Widescreen is also allowed.
• Calendars must be in a common graphics format such as jpg, tiff, gif or png.
• It must have Emma-Watson.net and February and it should have the dates. It should be mostly original work, and images used should be respectful of Emma’s privacy.
• The deadline to submit calendars is January 28.
• No more than 3 entries per person please. All entries must be sent to emmawatson.graphics@gmail.com

People Tree‘s online magazine has two new pictures of Emma visiting Fair Trade producer Swallows in Bangladesh. Emma was there last summer to see how Fair Trade can really make a difference in people’s lives, and got some hands on experience in the production of her Spring/Summer 2011 collaboration coming out soon.

The People’s Choice Awards airs tonight on CBS at 9/8C. Emma is nominated in the Favorite Movie Star Under 25 category. Good luck, Emma!

I haven’t heard anything about Emma attending, but I’ll be recording it just in case. People have asked about watching it online. The red carpet will be streamed live on the People’s Choice site, but I don’t know about the award ceremony itself.

So, it’s a new year. Time to look at what you’ve done in the past year. Take pride in accomplishments and learn from failures. Time to think about how you can make the next year better.

I am biased of course but I think Emma-Watson.net is a great site with a great group of fans, but I also know it can be better. There are a number of things I hoped to do this past year but there was never enough time. I have plans for this year that  I know will never get done unless we have more help. And so, we are looking for people to join the Emma-Watson.net team.

First up, we are looking for one or more newsposters. Applicants should be good at finding news. They should be able to communicate reasonably well in English and have good writing skills. Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS would be a bonus, as would experience with wordpress, but not required. If you are interested, send an email to emmawatson.source@gmail.com telling us a bit about yourself including age, country, why you want to join EW.net and if you have worked on other websites or write an example news post if you haven’t. Also include other skills you think might be useful for the site, such as other languages, good at graphics, website design, other experience at writing, etc.

We are also interested in individuals who can help us build up our image gallery. Send an email to emmawatson.source@gmail.com if you think you can help.

Finally, if you have ideas of other ways you could help the site, send us an email to that same address and tell us about your idea and some information about yourself.
