Jo has updated EWO with a link to the online Mail on Sunday Live magazine interview, so I think we can assume the interview is for the most part real. Jo also mentioned the plate Emma designed for Blue Peter’s Mission Nutrition, saying that Emma signed and decorated it when she visited the BBC studio to film the Blue Peter show in early December. As we told you earlier, the plate is up for auction on eBay, and it’s doing quite well. The current bid price as I write this is £360.00.

The new interview seemed believable to me, but it's nice to have confirmation. 🙂 Also, those wondering why the plate was so sparsely decorated now know that it was because she did it on the spot for Blue Peter. Two questions answered. 😛
By the way, I like the plate. Sometimes, simple is beautiful. >_> You don't want to overstimulate your brain looking at complex artwork and forget to eat your food. <_<

Given the new information, I retract my negative comment on a previous thread about Emma's plate. Considering that it was an on-site job, good on her for taking even that little bit of time to create something that will make life nicer for somebody less fortunate than the rest of us.

It makes more sense to me now, why an interview in the Daily Mail. She´d previously been in the You-supplement and now she´s in the Live-supplement. And it is the BAFTA edition about movies. Still, the glamour of the pictures somehow slightly contradicts some of the things she says, but I am willing to believe that these pictures were not taking against her will and so I am fine with it. Even though I have seen better photoshoots with her (like Vogue and Ellen v. Unwerth), these are nice and I´ve never seen a bad photoshoot with her anyway. 🙂 Her thoughts are quite deep, and that´s a great chunk of the reason why I like her so much. 🙂

Her interviews just say the same thing, it's a bit boring now. For someone who doesn't like fame, she sure does a lot of photoshoots. I wish she's actually do something then it would be more interesting.

Emma loves fashion and clothes! that's why she does all those photoshoots! If she doesn't want to be famous that's her choice, but I really think she likes her fans! or else she wouldn't write the Ems or do all the interviews! It's all the rumours and the parties she doesn't like. And to Jay! "I wish she would actually do something"???? she does a lot of things! she does a lot of POSITIVE things! If you need Emma to do a lot of negative things to keep her interesting.. then Emma is not the type for you! Keep up the good work Em! you are a great role model! (and a beautyfull fashion model!);)
Personally I don't believe most of it. I especially don't believe that Emma never even dreamed of being an actress before HP. And if that's true I'll never believe another word she says in an interview.

I am an obsessive fan of Emma's. But she has been saying the exact opposite for the entire seven years before this article. Stuff like " I've always wanted to be an actress but I never wanted the fame" etc. So if she's been lying for seven years than excuse me for not trusting her words if they are indeed her words. Great pics though.
yeah, she is contradicting herself alot… i remember in 1 interview she said she dont need all that money, but then again you always read how she travels here and there, how she always is shoping, she wants go to uni in USA, i mean cmonn stop lying… same thing with what Jay said, she like doesnt like fame but she photoshoots more than fasion models, heck she even was going for official Chanell fasion promoter as for Adele's reply about "positive" things, sorry i dont see anything useful she actualy does unlike Tom Felton (no im not his fan but giving example), of him you can atleast see he goes to hospitals and doing alot of charity work, of emma mostly you see is photohoots, travels, shopping… thats hardly anything positive except showing how her life is totaly changed due to be rich
Alright, this is getting tiresome. Hogstream, she is traveling because it is her gap year. She has stated she would be doing so. I haven't seen her shopping that much but most girls do shop a lot. What she actually said was she has enough money never to work again, but that she would never want that and wants to continue her education. As for her coming to the USA, lots of people go to different countries to attend schools, not just the wealthy. As far as photoshoots you could say the same thing about acting. Both involve fame, but both are also careers. Emma probably simply enjoys both and enjoys going to fashion shows. What does that have to do with her wanting fame? Why can't she just do stuff she enjoys? She said she isn't looking for fame or crazy about it. She does this stuff because it is fun for her, believe it or not. And she has been doing charity work. Did you forget about the plate? the UNICEF link she posted on her site? And there are other charities as well. To top it off, the interview seems for the most part real. Key word, most. Some of the information is dodgy and doesn't seem like Emma said it, such as the part about her not wanting to be an actress. No one said it was 100% true, just that she did the interview and likely a good chunk of it is. PS: she NEVER was going for the official face of Chanel spot. That was a false rumor that both Emma and Chanel addressed.
I was just at the forums and in the tropic about new candid pictures someone said the photos won't be posted on the forums because they respect emma 's privicy. But for the past few years private pictures of Dan and Rupert or Bonnie were tollerate. Is there a differens between the pivacy of Emma and the privacy of Dan and Rupert?
I haven't been able to view the forums in a while due to an error in which whenever I click on the forum link it can't find the page. However I can say that NO private pictures are allowed no matter who it is. If you see pictures like that tell the moderators since they are not supposed to be there.
Anne,There are public pictures of Emma at events, there are private pictures of her like at someone\’s home, and then there are candid pictures like Emma out shopping that fall somewhere inbetween. It\’s her personal time, but they aren\’t really private because she is a public figure in a public place. Some are more intrusive than others, and those are handled on a case by case basis. Truly private pictures are not allowed for Emma, Dan, Rupert, Bonnie, or any of the others.
I've been looking at the photo and it came to my mind that those people around her may not be the proper company for Emma.This may be perfectly true for Dita von Teese (even though her influence on the media may not be underestimated), but this is simply has to be accepted in the way of becoming famous.I personally hope, that Donatella Versace is able to create fashion for Emma which actually brings out the young woman in her… we simply have to realize, that she is not the innocent Hermione any more. She has turned into a beautiful grown-up, and that is how she should be seen and shown.
I feel sorry for Emma having to sit next to Donatella Versace. Versace is seriously scary looking. Something went very wrong with her plastic surgery. It's awful! 😥
Some of you guys are reading way too much into that article. Since Jo mentioned it on EWO, it would seem it is a real article, meaning they did interview Emma. Does that mean it\’s all true, and accurate? No. A lot of it is probably real. Some seems lifted right out of old interviews. Even in real interviews, quotes are mangled, taken out of context, and misrepresented all the time. It\’s not like they would send Emma a copy beforehand and ask her to correct any mistakes.Even you guys are mangling her quotes. Emma didn\’t say \’she never dreamed of being an actress before HP\’. She said \”I wasn’t one of those girls who ALWAYS DREAMED of being an actress.\” A big difference. It is the author who said she has no interest in fame, and that as a child she never considered being an actress. Emma has told that story about saying she wanted to be an actress when she was young. So, she had dreams. She also said she wanted to be a fairy or a princess, so it wasn\’t always acting she thought about. She also said she didn\’t actually remember saying it, but was told about what she said by her grandmother. Chanel? Like KS said, that was just a tabloid rumor.Photoshoots, travel and shopping? Why shouldn\’t she. It\’s been her year off. And I\’m sure Tom goes shopping too, but apparently that\’s not worth a page in a tabloid.
I totaly agree! emma does photoshoots because she enjoys it. she loves fashion so it is only natural for her to be going to fashion shows and to go shopping! Everybody knows that Emma doesn't NEED the money to be happy! I'm doing fine with out 1000000000000000 million in my pocket. but if I had it, I would use it! Emma is living a girls biggest dream! Traveling, shopping, fashion shows and photoshoots! Enjoy it Emma! And don't go picking on every word she says! It's not lake she can't change her mind or something! she is only 18!! who knows what they want when they are 18?

But it's still surprising to see so much confusion and negative reaction over an interview that was a good read and showed the positive aspects of Emma. Oh well. Lot of long comments though. 😛 Anyway, Emma looks great in the picture and it's awesome to see her plate doing well in the auction. 🙂

I don't think Emma is backtracking on comments. I think she was just so focused on HP she didn't realize the whole extent of the suituation. I think she thought long and hard about being an actress outside of HP. I'm glad to read she's growing up and is steering away from a life of hard partying. She seems to realize there is more in life and she's being responsible. Having little sibs may have something to do with. Kids change people. The negativity is getting old. People are at another forum are admitting they are happy she had upskirt shots. It's so personal to them and they refuse to accept people change or they don't know her personally. It's vulgar.

I believe she wasn't sure about continuing after HP. I believe that she doesn't get drunk. As for not dating famous guys, you can't help who you fall for. The chips will fall where they will. I'm indifferent about the parents never watching movies thing. But I do not believe for an instant that she never wanted to be an actress before HP.

And to add, Emma said the mattress thing while she was three years old. It was her grandmother who told her the story since Emma forgot.
I don't believe she is never drunk. I actually think she was drunk at some public appearences, like after the World premiere from OotP. I've seen some weird pictures of Emma getting into the car! And, of course Emma likes money. But she has always been rich, even before Harry Potter and before she had acces to her money. Her parents are both laywers. And look at the clothes she is wearing! Recently she was shopping in France, and just her watch was more than 6000 dollars.

Iris, Emma never said she never drank or never got drunk. She just said she didn't like being drunk and doesn't need to drink to have fun. And please do not speculate how much money she has/spends. No one knows that for a fact since Emma doesn't talk about how much money she has/spends. And many of her clothes were given to her by the companies that made them. At least for the premieres.
A close inspection from this pic reveals that Donatella Versace is not really in the left side of Emma. I truly thought Donatella was looking at Emma but that´s probably not true. Melissa Dishell looks so much beautiful and hot than even Dita Von Teese I believe 😛
KS987, I agree with you about the drinking thing. But have you ever visited the site http://www.dresslikeemma.ws? They show what Emma wore and where you can buy it, or where you can buy something that looks the same. And her clothes (all of them, so not just the borrowed things) are very, very, very expensive and from expensive designers.
