Emma Watson is nominated for Best Actress in a Fantasy Movie or TV Show in Spike TV’s 2009 Scream Awards for her role as Hermione in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Daniel Radcliffe is up for Best Fantasy Actor, Rupert Grint and Evanna Lynch are nominated for Best Supporting Actor and Actress, and Helena Bonham-Carter is up for Best Villain. Half-Blood Prince is nominated in a number of categories.
Voting is open online to fans now through October 17. The ceremony will tape on October 17 and will premiere on Spike TV October 27.

I'm voting! Kristen is good but Emma developes more complicated levels of emotion. Anyway, I think The Twilight Saga is hot and romantic but Harry Potter is "thicker", more complicated and more sensitive. I also like Twilight (movie version) but it's just about beautiful vampires and good humans. It's not enough for me. Half-blood Prince has some bad mistakes though… I hope the producers will do better with the next installment. Anyway, I don't think we can compare Harry Potter with Twilight. They're SO different!

the reason i think bonnie doesn't deserve an award, is because she was quite emotionless and arkward, maybe yates could've done more to help her, but i just find it funny that he did a great job with the rest of the actors, and yet she was the only one that was unconvincing, but that's just my opinion.

There's also the Holly S***! Scene of the year cathegory, and HBP is nominated just if you want it to win many prizes haha
I hope they don't ruin the 7th movie, and Twilight did horribly but HBP DID live up to the expectations because the back cover summary DOES SAY that LOVE starts to BLOSSOM! It was just the concluding fight that was a bit disappointing. Why is Evanna Lynch for best supporting Actress but BONNIE WRIGHT one of the more main characters in HBP get nominated for ANYTHING? 😡 I say the person who put up the nominees made a crucial mistake. What about Matthew Lewis? 😡 But I voted for Helena Bonham-Carter twice! 🙂 Oh and dook, did you get my comment about the mysterious photoshoots? I'm starting to get impatient because of the outdated photo gallery… 🙁

BTW Twilight has more sensitive emotion than Harry Potter. Harry Potter has emotions dealing with death. Twilight has emotions dealing with love.

Erm… "thicker" = more complex 😛 (my English is bad, huh?) I love both Emma and Kristen 😉 but I just vote for Harry Potter cuz I think Twilight has gain more than it is deserved to have. People resemble each other and raise Twilight to a phenomenon 😥 Teens are thirst for love so I must say Twilight chose the right time to burst out. I just think most of time, Bella loves Edward for his look only 😕 I can read Harry Potter several times because Harry Potter is not all about magic, it's about very human ones, but I think I can't re-read Twilight 😥 It's quite lengthy… and a lengthy story about good-like-god ones is usually boring 😛 I love to read about imperfect ones. Anyway, I think J.K Rowling did better job than Stephanie Meyer. And you see the result: Harry Potter has been published in more countries than Twilight has been 🙂 😛
@Dao Tu Thao I agree with you generally because I guess Twilight as a book was really good, so everybody went totally insane, and acted like thickheads for Twilight. Jeez, I guess the explanation that Bonnie was considered not good enough in HBP is way enough to justify that she wasn't nominated. You don't get nominated just bc you happen to have a bigger role now, you need to actually prove yourself. and Matthew Lewis barely appeared in HBP. *LOL* I have to say though that I thought JKR completely failed at the romance department when it comes to HP. Harry/Ginny was a joke. Twilight happens to be a joke as a whole but that's just my opinion…

Oh please…! Can we stop this? Emma can`t win every time, every poll, against everyone… What do you think will happen to her popularity when she`s been on campus for more than a year ? I wanted to vote for Emma but finally, I voted for Kristen Stewart. I loved her performance in Twilight. However, I wanted too to vote for Emma because she is a good actress!
