About fast fashion and Fair Trade (2010): "It's important to differentiate between fast fashion which is made very quickly for a very small price and Fair Trade fashion. Which means that if you buy a t-shirt which costs £2-3, you just have to do the math and work out how much the person who made it is being paid? So, Fair Trade fashion is still reasonably priced but allows the person who made it to earn a decent living and to be able to feed and take care of their families. It gives them enough money to live with dignity. I'm not saying that everything I wear will be Fair Trade from now on or that I'm an organic purist, it's just a great option and one I always try to make if available. I just try to ask more questions about where the garment comes from. I want to make good choices. I just think it's good to have Fair Trade fashion in the high street."

Site Updates

Our Emma Facts page was getting a bit old and innacurate, so Neve has updated information that has changed and added many new ‘facts’.

We’ve added a couple new wallpapers to the staff graphics section, made by Maud.

Reminder: Since this is a short month, today is the deadline to enter the calendar competition.

    Thank you for updating the facts about Emma. I really enjoyed reading these new lines 🙂 Apart from this I think it´s absolutely necessary to "refresh" the facs about Em from time to time, because she might be a person, whose facts change as much as possible.

    Emma owns an I-Phone 3GS (about 700 pounds) ?! I remember her saying, she didnt´t want to have something expensive, that her friends couldn´t earn… 😕

    @Germany-GreatBritain Where did you hear she had an iPhone 3GS? I have one as well, would love to know if Emma and I have the same phones! And I'm not sure about £700, they're about £180 + a contract haha
