About Viktor Krum (2005): "The Bulgarian Bon-Bon, yeah... (the interviewer laughs) That's in the movie, that's a quote!"

Emma on Daybreak

Emma appeared on ITV1’s Daybreak morning program today. She talks about how Hermione has changed, filming the torture scene, school, some true-false questions, and happy endings. It’s short, but a good interview. A little sad at the end.

I teared up. No joke. That was beautiful. The end part, that is. So sweet.

@Tia: The end was very deep. It's true: after investing almost half your life into something so fully, and finishing it, you feel so complete yet hesitant as to what's to come and hope the next chapter is just as enjoyable as the first. This is how I felt after I graduated secondary/high school. On another note, I think she can only go up from here. Much luck to her.

"As the first half"? i hope she`s not going to die with 40

So, what she basically said is that she might never act again? That she probably is enjoying the life of school and college so much that she might want to invest her future in that? I think that sounds great, I mean she is very talented and if it feels right, then by all means, do it.

  6. Tia says:

No, I don't think she's saying she'll never act again. Especially because in other interviews she's been saying the media assumes she's quitting acting, but she said that isn't true. I think I once head her say she wanted to do something big when she's older. Maybe she wont act forever. Which would be heartbreaking. She's my favorite actress and role model. She's just so wonderful!

That was pretty funny, "second half" of her life. I'd say more like a quarter of it since women can live up to 80 or possibly more. And yeah, unfortunately there's a downward spiral to a lot of child actors after their big gig is up because of depression of not achieving something as spectacular as your first big role so I hope it doesn't happen to Emma 😥

This was a great interview with Emma. XD at the Hermione action figures still creeping her out after all of these years. 😛 I think she is simply referring to her portrayal of Hermione when she says she feels like "retiring at 20" as she seems to want to act again but is just putting school first with her career being secondary. Like she said, she has a lot ahead of her and I'll be looking forward to where she goes next. 🙂
