About working on her People Tree collection (2010): "It was a really long process putting all this together. I had no idea all the work involved. You really have to start at the basics. Safia and I had an initial meeting and we went through and chose the fabrics we wanted to use. Then choosing the styles took a long time. Again a lot of inspiration came from my wardrobe and friends' wardrobes and I added my own style to it. Then going through the pantone books and choosing colours, but this don't necessarily look the same once you've dyed something. You learn these things as you go along. It's massively time consuming. We did a first set of samples and some looked good and some needed altering a lot."

January Calendar Competition

Time to get started on the January Calendar Competition.

  • The size of the calendar should be at least 1024×768. Higher resolutions are good. Widescreen is also allowed.
  • Calendars must be in a common graphics format such as jpg, tiff, gif or png.
  • It must have Emma-Watson.net and January and it should have the dates. It should be mostly original work, and images used should be respectful of Emma’s privacy.
  • The deadline to submit calendars is December 28.
  • No more than 3 entries per person please. All entries must be sent to emmawatson.graphics@gmail.com

    Can't wait to see them! I heard that there might be a teaser trailer released January 24th! Some HP site tweeted it today and I got really excited! So I marked it on my calendar.I just hope it's true!!!

    will i get docked for not putting the dash in the website name on my calander? It was my first one so I didnt realize there even was supposed to be one. oops. 🙁
