Emma Watson received the top award of “Style Icon” at this years ELLE Style Awards this evening. Emma said she was overwhelmed to be called a “style icon” and tried not to focus on having her style emulated by young girls. She said: “It feels amazing. Fashion is something that I love. I try not to think about it too much. I try and block all that off and I just do what I love and just have fun with it. I’ve definitely been feeling the pressure a bit more recently but it’s just fun for me.”
Elle editor Lorraine Candy praised Watson for her individuality, saying: ‘She’s got a very distinct individual look. We always say at Elle, “It’s not what you wear, it’s the way you wear it”, and she’s got such spirit, Emma. I think that makes her stylish.’

As to my opinion: I must say, it’s not my favourite look, her hair looks a bit greasy, but she makes the dress work, and I adore her shoes 😉

Is it me or does she look like she has gained a lot of weight since the Deathly Hallows premiere back in November.
I always like Emma’s style. Her BAFTA gown was so beautiful! She must have been an easy choice for this award. I’m also impressed by her humility. With all the awards and attention she’s received over the last few years, she seems so well grounded.
I am so thrilled that emma won the award. 😛 And her speech was great too.

I seriously love the dress on her! Great choice, Emma! And I don’t think she gained wieght, I just think she’s been working out…getting a bit of muscle, ya know. lol. All in all, she looks better than ever.
That’s exactly what I think. She doesn’t seem to have gained weight. She seem to have gained some healthy muscles and weight she needed to take! 😛 (i always thought she was a bit too skinny… like a lot of actresses… do you think it’s because of their work schedule?)
Her arms are definitely more toned! I was noticing that as well. Still as gorgeous as ever!

Emma is one stunningly sexy woman. WOW!!! I don’t think it’s healthy for me to see all of these videos and pictures, but I’ve never been much of a health nut anyway. 😛 Congratulations to Emma for winning the “Style Icon” award. It’s nice to see her win an award for her massive contribution to the fashion world. 🙂 I hope she manages to get some rest though, as it’s been a busy four days for her.

Hello Staff, isn’t there anything that can be done about all those fake Emma-fotos on German ebay?
I think you could contact ebay and let them be removed? Are they marked as fakes? If not I think you could tell ebay someone is trying to sell fake pictures pretending they are real ones. I haven’t checked but they are probably nude pictures? Because if so I am think there’s a decent chance ebay might remove them.

Vivienne Westwood takes my breath away, but not in a good way. She looks absolutely GARISH!
She’s growing her hair out! She looks amazing with short or long hair. Can’t wait to see how it turns out! Probably by fall she’ll have it around the way she’s hoping for. I’ve had my hair her style for a little over 3 months and it’s growing surprisingly fast! Little know fact about the cut Emma and I have, the top grows fastest!

Emma looked stunning! During all four nights at the pre-Bafta parites, the BAFTA’s themselves and the after party plus the Elle style awards – Emma’s outfits were amazing and outshone every single one! She deserves the Elle Style Icon award because she is finally getting noticed for her work. And actually is a style icon. And for everyone who is wondering who will make it after Harry Potter… the answer is, and Emma is going to be big! Oscar’s in a few years i think?
