Emma has been nominated for ‘Best Actress’ in this year’s Jameson Empire awards for her role as Hermione Granger in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. She is up against Natalie Portman, Helena Bonham-Carter, Noomi Rapace and Olivia Williams. Deathly Hallows is nominated in the ‘Best Sci-Fi/Fantasy’ category. Voting ends March 9! So vote today!
Emma is also nominated for ‘Favorite Movie Actress’ in Nickelodeon’s Kid’s Choice Awards, up against Miley Cyrus, Ashley Judd, and Kristen Stewart. The award ceremony will broadcast on April 2. Voting is now open.

Emma has posted a message on her site which answers the many rumors that have been flying around about her schooling and Brown. She’s just taking some time off to finish with Harry Potter and other projects.
I knew she wasn’t giving up on schooling. That’s just not what Emma would do. I mean, she IS Hermione 😉

Rumor Alert: Heard Emma is signing on for another film called “Hunger Games” opposite Alex Pettyfer…Yeahya… that’d be worth taking a break from Brown for.:)
It’s just a rumor I think, Chloe Moretz had a rumor about it too… but I think it would be cool for emma to make another popular teen movie only to get recognize as an actress by everyone, as Orlando bloom did when he got the part in Pirate of the Caribeans. After she can do whatever she wants anyway I think she can do wonderful things, we just don’t know her yet!

That Hailee Stinfield actress is eh for Katniss to me. I mean she’s better than the rumored actresses to play Katniss, but I always pictured Katniss with a tad more stronger features. Maybe if that actress had stronger features she’d be pretty good for the part, since she already has the olive skin tone.
I can’t see Emma as Katniss. Even though I love Emma to death; I just can’t see it. Emma doesn’t even have the olive skin tone like Katniss.
I suppose Chloe Moretz could be Prim. If they dye her ahir a little more blond, but she looks a but too old for Prim in the first book.

It has been announced on yahoo.com that emma watson will be droping out of college to finish the harry potter film and work on other projects.

She cannot juggle those things. It was very stupid of her to go to college and try to juggle her career at the same time. If she wants to focus on her career, she should have never gone to college. She is just wasting her millions on something that she is not committed to. With this new movie she’s shootin this summer she Better have a brilliant American accent or her career as an actress is ruined.
Well, it’s a bit too much to say her career won’t necessarily be ruined because of that, but i heard she was working on her accent this year, she took courses at Brown for that last semester.
She isnt going to win at the KCA awards she isnt good enough compared to Kristen or Miley when dealing with the American awards. She never wins at American award shows anyway.
Personaly I don’t like Kristen NOR Miley, but it’s true, che doesn’t win these award… possibly because she’s british and less known there.

Wonder what other projects she is gonna be doing this year. It would be nice if she was in a movie with Zac Efron. I would definatly see that movie.
I am glad we finally heard from Emma regarding the Brown situation. And it was probably for the best to take a break for a while. Last semester she had to juggle her Brown studies with filming My Week With Marilyn and promoting Deathly Hallows Part 1, which must have been grueling, and had she gone this semester it would have been followed by more Harry Potter promotion and filming for Perks of Being a Wallflower, and then after that it would have been back to Brown. Not to mention that both Brown and filming location for Perks(Pittsburgh) are in the US, so she would have spent more time away from her family than she normally would have. She can complete college any time, so she probably decided to take her break so she can have the next couple of months off to prepare for her busy summer. She’ll go back when her schedule is less hectic so she can fully focus on her studies.
And I voted. Hopefully she wins.
