About the pressure to be thin (2007): "I am lucky that I stay the same weight. There are so many girls at my school who suffer from eating disorders. There is so much pressure on girls our age to be smart and pretty and funny and skinny - they have to be everything. I definitely know what that pressure is like but my philosophy is to eat what you like and be healthy and take exercise."

New Photos in Elle UK

The April issue of Elle UK features a short interview with Emma Watson at the Elle Style Awards and a couple new images from a photoshoot with designer Vivienne Westwood. Emma received Elle’s Style Icon Award, presented to her by Westwood.

    Emma’s absolutely stunning. And once again it seems to me like she and Westwood hit it off just fine. Emma truly is a style icon and it was great to see her finally get recognized.
