About whether or not she wants to remain an actress (2006): "I really don't know. Daniel and Rupert seem so sure. I don't know. I wouldn't want "Harry Potter" to be the last thing I do. Nothing is ever going to be quite on the scale of this. I appreciate that. And also I've come into acting in such a funny way. Most people who want to act have to sit through hours of auditioning and work their way up, whereas I seemed to have come straight in at the top, having had no experience at all. That's quite a strange position to be in, but amazing at the same time because it has given me so many options and choices. I definitely would like to try other films to see what it's like. I'd really like to try some theater, actually, because I think I would really enjoy that immediate response from an audience. I love making people laugh. I love to perform, but there are so many things I love doing (pauses) Maybe that seems ungrateful. I have been given such an amazing opportunity, but I'll just have to go with the flow and see what happens."

No offence or anything, but I always think the MTV awards are so cheap. Especially because the fans choose and since you can vote more than once all those obsessive sick fans of Robert pattinson and co do so and the result is that bad actors and films get awards.
I don´t think Emma is cheap nor bad so in my opinion it´s not the right place for her to go to.

  2. Dr.Pepper says:

I hope she wins the award. I wish Emma all the best.

  3. CRISTY says:

see what i mean? deathly hallows part 1 made me cry at the end of the movie. and tw: eclipse had no climax at the end pulse the movie felt the same through out the time i watched it. at the end of each movie i gave Twilight eclipse 7.0 and i gave deathly hallows part 1 8.7 and note i judge movies in detail.

  5. shane says:

Please vote for all categories that Harry Potter is nominated in (pretty please). Twilight sucks. 🙂

Go Emma and Harry Potter! can’t wait for July 15th

  7. Grace says:

    AHHH SO EXCITED!
Harry Potter had better win ALL the awards they’re nominated in! (Which is like, more than 50% of the categories!)
Honestly, I’ll be so mad if Twilight wins anything, cause they suck. And HP owns the world.

  8. berlin says:

Go Emma! There could be no one better, presenting the video 🙂

  9. Lita says:

Even though I love Twilight, I think Emma and Deathly Hallows deserve the votes. Emma was AMAZING in Deathly Hallows.

    Hermione > Bella Swan

  10. KS987 says:

Emma definitely deserves an award for her performance in Deathly Hallows part 1.

  11. cait says:

Unless that loan somehow help advertise Emma’s nomination in the MTV movie awards, we don’t care =)

  12. Birgit says:

I usually aren’t that kind of a negative person, but don’t expect Emma or HP to win anything. The world is again unfair and stupid and likes bad films. Only because teenage girls of 13 don’t know good films.

  13. Birgit says:

I swear, if Emma and Rupert don´t win best kiss next year I’ll personally write a “f*ck you” letter to MTV.

  14. emlover says:

harry potter and the deathly hallows is such great movie
deserves an oscar not mtv movie award and we know that emma is better than kristen at least emma is alive and full with emotions on the screen but kristen is so cold
any way we shouldn`t care for awards like these

  15. Valentina says:

can’t wait!! haven’t seen her on an event for a long time, I missed that!

  16. Birgit says:

Who cares that Emma and DH likely won’t win anything?
I mean, a pocornformed award?? Do I need to say more?? I don’t think so. I don’t take the whole thing seriously. The only thing I am excited about is the upcoming clip, I hope it will be interesting, or something cute with Ron and Hermione or anything..

  17. Emily says:

    YAAAAAAAAAAAAAY 🙂

  18. Estelle says:

HARRY POTTER BEATS TWILIGHT’S ASS ANY TIME ANY WAY AND ALWAYS WILL. EMMA>KRISTEN DAN>ROBERT HOW DIFFICULT IS IT TO UNDERSTAND THAT?

  19. AnaS says:

I love how the video of the week got to be the viideo of the past two years :s

  20. Nicole says:
