About her dream co-star (2004): "Oh my goodness, there's so many people I want to work with, there's so many people... I'm so lucky because I got to work with loads of them on Harry Potter. But... Brad Pitt, you know, he's pretty good (laughs)."

Deathly Hallows Part 2 World Premiere

Emma Watson and most of the cast members attended the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 premiere in London today. The weather was brilliant, and Emma was gorgeous. Who could ask for more. Well, we could ask for more premieres, but this was it. The very last world premiere of Harry Potter ๐Ÿ™

Just before the screening of the movie began, the three Davids, the trio, and Jo made some very emotional ‘farewell’ speeches to Harry Potter. I know there is still the New York premiere, and various talk shows and other press, but this speech by Emma really says it’s the end for me.

You need the Flash to see this video.

“I want to say thank you to David Barron and David Heyman, youโ€™ve both been like fathers to me. David Yates, you taught me so much more thanโ€ฆ Iโ€™m so lucky to take everything that youโ€™ve taught me with me. Steve Kloves, you gave Hermione the voice that I so hoped she would have and Iโ€™m so grateful, she is every bit as strong and beautiful and great as she is in the book and Iโ€™m very grateful. Jo [starts to break down], thank you for writing these amazing books and and for beingโ€ฆ. [starts to cry] thatโ€™s it, Iโ€™m gone. such a rolemodel to me in real life. Thank you to Rupert for making me laugh and being such a great brother and thank you to Dan, same thing. I will miss you so much. And thank you to Warner Brothers for making these films the way they should have been made and giving them the support that they needed and we went out as we shouldโ€™ve done, on a bang and Iโ€™m so proud to have been a part of this, thank you so, so much. Thank you to everyone here who came, you are the most wonderful fans in the world and itโ€™s just such a privilege. Thank you so, so much.”

So that’s it, the final Harry Potter UK premiere has come and gone. There is still the US premiere, but this will be the last premiere held “home” in England. ๐Ÿ™ The speeches by Emma, JK Rowling, etc. were very emotional as the series has been a major part of all of their lives. It’s very bittersweet as although the series is coming to an end and they will have to go their seperate ways, they were able to be a part of something amazing that will always be remembered and experienced by the current generation as well as future ones, and they were all brought together by it. And while this is the end of an era, it’s also the beginning of a new one for each of them. It was an amazing series and it will always be a part of their lives and ours forever.

And of course, Emma is stunning beautiful as ever. Just….WOW!!! ๐Ÿ™‚

  18. Marie says:

oh God, this is really sad, i cried like a baby, emma’s great, all of them

  19. Alyssa says:

Oh my gosh, poor Emma, she started crying! Her dress is gorgeous!

  20. Jaana says:

Okay, here come the waterworks…. ๐Ÿ™ Emma’s speech was so….so…moving and emotional and beautiful and straight from the heart! Love her to bits. <3

  21. Valentina says:

    Amazing dress, speech, everything!

  22. nastya says:

it’s an end of an era for those who started reading books at 11. it’s kind of childhood’s over. and that makes everybody cry. these are warm and happy tears, but although you’ll never queue for the new hp book, you’ll never feel that exitment of waiting for the new movie. and when you say that something will never happen, you feel absolutely undescribable feelings. that’s it guys.

  23. Erin says:

i used to quite dislike her dressing choices, but I adore this one
I grew up with Harry Potter. I started watching the movies when I was about 4. I remember playing Hogwarts with my little sister, and having our bedrooms be the common rooms. I remember actually starting to read the books, and how the magic jumped from the pages. I remember being Hermione for Halloween, then later being a dementor. I have literally grown up with Harry Potter, so its really sad for me to see it end. I don’t think I’d be who I am today without it. Every time I’m at the movies and I see at trailer for the last movie, I almost cry. It’s my entire magical childhood that’s wrapped up in those books and movies ending. And its ironic that its ending right as my time with my classmates are ending. We’ve spent 8 crazy years together, and then we’re graduating from it. On to high school, even though most people are going to the same high school, it’s a lot bigger and it will be so much more different. I’m off topic, anyways. Her speech was beautiful, Emma looked stunning, and it’s very bittersweet to see 10 years of magic ending. <3 </3

  24. Marja says:

Amazing speech! I cried. Don’t want it to end! Emma, you’re the best. And everyone else in the cast!

  25. eger says:

Woooo, Dan is a dwarf LOL

  26. berlin says:

Don’t be sad!!! Emma will appear in new projects and the end of Harry Potter does not mean the end of everything ๐Ÿ™‚

  27. EmRocksSocks says:

What? No, there’s just something in my eye! :*)

  28. Berloche says:

Is someone can tell me what Emma said?

I don’t understand all what she sais :s

    Thanks you

  29. Berloche says:

    Thank you so much ๐Ÿ™‚

  30. Silly says:

Lovely dress for both Emma & JK. <3
