Middle Aged Hermione
Warner Bros. released several new promos showing Emma Watson and her co-stars ‘aged-up’ in the Deathly Hallows epilogue. The first shoot for the scene was shall we say disappointing, so last December, they reshot the scene with new make-up. Heyman said, “It made all the difference in the world. We got what we were looking for.” and about Emma, “There was a challenge in the performance for the young actors. I know Emma talked about her approach was to think of her young siblings — her father has remarried and she has a new family — and how being with them was her way to get into the head of a parent going off to school. It wasn’t easy for them.”
My Week with Marilyn Premiere
My Week with Marilyn will premiere during this year’s New York Film Festival on October 9. Taken from the diary of Colin Clark, the film chronicles a week that Clark spent showing Marilyn Monroe around England. The film stars Michelle Williams and Eddie Redmayne as the lead characters, and Emma Watson in a supporting role. The film is scheduled for a November 4 release in the US.

Promo videos for what? If you mean My Week with Marilyn, they haven’t released any yet.
is emma safe? do we know if she’s in a safe place during all of these riots?
Er I don’t know but the epilogue was quite disappointing either way… I disliked it even in the book. No complaints, though.

Anyway, The Epilogue was precious and touching, I really liked the make up. The make up they had on the first time aged them way too old.
I wouldn’t be too concerned altho it’s lovely that you are! I don’t know where Emma lives obviously but I’m 100% sure it’s no where near the riots.. There in a… Less respectable… part of London than Emma would be

middle-aged trio was the worst part of the movie. i hated it. i couldn’t beleieve they did it. they don’t look like 30 at all. and they look so ordinary. so…i wish they’ve never made this scene, i also wish jk never wrote this epiloge too.

I loved how Emma approached playing Hermione as a mother, and I am glad that she has played Hermione the whole way through, in the epilogue and using pictures of her childhood to portray younger Hermione in DH1. Hermione will always be Emma to me. 🙂
I wonder if she will attend the premiere for MWWM, as she starts school around October I believe. We’ll have to wait an see.
