About fast fashion and Fair Trade (2010): "It's important to differentiate between fast fashion which is made very quickly for a very small price and Fair Trade fashion. Which means that if you buy a t-shirt which costs £2-3, you just have to do the math and work out how much the person who made it is being paid? So, Fair Trade fashion is still reasonably priced but allows the person who made it to earn a decent living and to be able to feed and take care of their families. It gives them enough money to live with dignity. I'm not saying that everything I wear will be Fair Trade from now on or that I'm an organic purist, it's just a great option and one I always try to make if available. I just try to ask more questions about where the garment comes from. I want to make good choices. I just think it's good to have Fair Trade fashion in the high street."

My Week with Marilyn – On the Red Carpet

I’ve added a number of My Week with Marilyn red carpet interviews with Emma Watson to the video gallery. Emma talked about Marilyn Monroe, other cast members and her role as Lucy. She also talked about continuing school and hinted at plans for next year.

“I loved it. It was less pressure, but at the same time it was an interesting role, although it was a small role. I loved the script and loved the story, and I’m very interested in Marilyn, so I really wanted to do it. I’m very proud of it, and I’m really pleased with my part in it.”

“It’s really nice … just to have that steady routine and back being home, being around people I love and doing what I love. I’m studying and really excited about my next projects. I can’t really talk about them right now, but I am going to try and fit in some film projects next year in between school.”

So great to see her on the red carpet again and listen to her being interviewed! She looks gorgeous!

I find it amazing that she said in one of the clips that she only shot for two days. And considering that critics are complaining that Lucy didn’t get enough screen time hopefully is a testiment to her abilities as an actress.

Thank you for posting the intervies of Emma Watson Dook. I enjoyed watching every single last one of them and I also wanted to say that Emma is really beautiful in the white dress that she is wearing.

Is this coming out in Canada because if it’s not then I’ll be sad but if it is I’ll be happy because I want to see it. I’m so happy she’s doing things outside of Potter.

Greis, I believe it is already out in Canada. I can find show times online for various cities. It’s not in a lot of theatres right now. There’s only one theatre in my city that has it.

Emma looked absoluely gorgeous as the premiere. 🙂 I am glad that she’s enjoying her semester at Oxford and being back home. I had no idea it only took two days to film her scenes. Though it’s a good thing it didn’t take that long since she had to promote Deathly Hallows part 1 before going back to school to make up the work she missed.

I am excited to hear that she has new projects coming up. I can’t wait to hear more about them. Thankfully Emma only has one more year of university after this one, so after that her schedule should be less hectic.
