About doing other movies (2007): "I've read scripts but nothing's particularly grabbed me and I don't want to do something just for the sake of doing it. It would have to be a film I feel really passionate about, because I've got so much else going on in my life.'

*New Update* Deathly Hallows: Part 2 previews on ABC Family

Friday, March 18th, 2011

It’s another Harry Potter Weekend on ABC Family and the first previews of Deathly Hallows: Part 2 have aired. The first video includes scenes from the film and interviews with Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, David Yates and David Barron. Warning: Spoilers!

You need the Flash to see this video.

The second video, narrated by Jason Isaacs, shows the growth of the Harry and Ginny relationship over the years. It doesn’t really include any Emma/Hermione scenes, but I thought I’d have it to be complete.

Emma Watson and David Yates talks about the Harry/Hermione relationship and the dance in the tent.

Another feature aired on ABC Family. In this one Jason Isaacs talks about who made the Marauder’s Map, something you won’t know if you have only seen the movies. There’s no Emma or Hermione in this one, just adding it to be complete.

Emma is the New Face of Lancôme

Monday, March 14th, 2011

“It starts with an L and ends with an E. I’m sure you have guessed the new face of Lancôme is me! :-)”  – @EmWatson

After a series of riddles on her twitter, Emma Watson has confirmed she is a new ambassadress for the French cosmetics company Lancôme. She will reportedly be the new face of their fragrance Trésor Midnight Rose.

Youcef Nabi, President of Lancôme International, released this statement. “Lancôme is pleased to announce the arrival of Emma Watson as new ambassadress of Lancôme. Thanks to her charm, romanticism and her incredible modernity, Emma Watson has become the icon of her generation. We are delighted by this new collaboration with Emma who brings a fresh spirit to Lancôme”.

Rumours say Mario Testino will be shooting the campaign. He has done other recent shoots for Lancôme, and he does fit Emma’s third clue, producing some great photos of Emma in the past. We’ll have to wait and see. A release date for the campaign has not been announced.

Can You Guess Emma’s New Project?

Friday, March 11th, 2011

Emma has posted a message on her facebook saying she will reveal a new project she is doing. But to find out what it is, we have to decipher clues she is leaving on her twitter. The first clue is up. Can you guess what the new project is?

A new venture is starting – what can it be? Follow my clues and you will see…

I’ll pierce your skin if you hold me wrong but I’ll love you forever if you pass me on.

I’ll be seen through a lens that has seen me before. Do you know who I mean, or do you still need more?

Are you keeping pace? No? Don’t lose face, it’s not a race. We share our birthplace…

It’s a beauty house that wears a hat. French? Very, but this is no beret.

This Pretty Woman was their latest recruit. Other great actresses have previously followed suit.

And the final clue is

It starts with an L and ends with an E. I’m sure you have guessed the new face of Lancôme is me! 🙂

I’ll add the clues above after they have been up for a while. Keep checking Emma’s twitter for the latest clues.
