In England, you are recognized as a style icon. Isn’t it scary that people always judge you by looks?
-My education helps me avoid bad experiences. If you are able to use your brain, it makes you independent from other people’s opinion. My aim is to make people see not only my appearance, but the things I say and do, too. I’m glad I had the chance to play Hermione in HP, because she’s not a simple dumb chick, but she has a great personality.
Do you like watching yourself on the screen?
-I’m hugely self-critical, so watching my films is not really easy for me. But it’s important to learn how to rate your work detachedly.
And how does it feel to be the face of Lancôme? By that, you follow the line of such super stars like Kate Winslet, Penelope Cruz or Julia Roberts. Have you ever met them?
-I have met all of them, except Julia Roberts. Too bad! I mean, she is my idol, and I have grown up with her films like „Pretty woman” and „Notting hill”. And of course, being the ambassadress of such a famous fashion brand along with magnificent actresses is a totally fascinating experience in my life.
What memories call up the fragrance Tresor Midnight Rose in you?
-On the balcony of my father’s apartment in London there were always jasmine flowers. I can clearly distinguish their scent in TMR, and it reminds me our summertime family dinners. And I can smell the scent of rose as well, which is my favourite flower. And the scent of strawberries evokes a delicious dessert!
