The Perks of Being a Wallflower premiered today at the Toronto International Film Festival. Emma Watson was in attendance along with co-stars Logan Lerman, Ezra Miller, Nina Dobrev, Johnny Simmons and writer-director Steven Chbosky. Press began yesterday and reviews for the film have been quite positive. At today’s screening, the film received a standing ovation at the end.

I read that most of the audience at TIFF had not seen the movie before and that they were hugging and crying at the end. 🙂

Just found a clip where emma screams ‘below average’ this clip explains the situation around it. Very cute!
Emma is such a lovely and polite person and especially when she thanks for the present she appears so typically British. All this British politeness and friendliness. I just compared her with some fellow British actors who are the same. Really nice interview!
That shade of lipstick really suits Emma. I love the outfit and natural hair too 🙂 i also really liked her and Stephen’s interview. I thought it was sweet when she said ezra was like her brother. 🙂
I noticed on a few pictures she has a smug of lipstick on her right of her top lip. 😛
I don’t think it’s possible for me to love her anymore than I already do! She’s just too precious!

Have I mentione Emma’s the most beautiful woman in the world today? What a stunningly sexy lady!!!! I heard some lucky fan got a kiss from her on the cheek. Why can’t I go to premieres? :(. I am excited and happy to hear that Perks got a standing ovation. I can only imagine how the cast must have felt about that. The positive reviews and reception just keep on coming as well.
The interview was great too. Emma was lovely as always and you can tell how happy she was. 🙂 Since they were in talks for Perks back in early 2010 and Perks was offically picked up in early 2011, the campaign to get it made apparently took almost a year. With how much fun they had making it and the positive reviews the film has gotten, it seems like it was well worth it in the end.
