About working on her People Tree collection (2010): "It was a really long process putting all this together. I had no idea all the work involved. You really have to start at the basics. Safia and I had an initial meeting and we went through and chose the fabrics we wanted to use. Then choosing the styles took a long time. Again a lot of inspiration came from my wardrobe and friends' wardrobes and I added my own style to it. Then going through the pantone books and choosing colours, but this don't necessarily look the same once you've dyed something. You learn these things as you go along. It's massively time consuming. We did a first set of samples and some looked good and some needed altering a lot."

    I see your face or photos and I think she is beautiful and more than beautiful is smart and friendly, but above all surprising therefore that there is something more, that quiet shyness, Charlie’m not sure, but I would not have given to be, you deserve the best no doubt. And to think I have 24 years and 23 drives me crazy, I could meet you and to ask you out one day, from Guatemala your from France, who say that, but believe me no good Emma fell in love with a character like Sam, fell in love is a woman like you, and if you’ll never know because this is the best way you know it and if that sita can give here one day be. And I’m not a fan obsessed believe me, but sometimes you see that beautiful woman and think “she should have someone who loves and values” but if I start thinking about who might be someone bothers me think I can be ME but then something ne your mind tells you “it is never able Emma Watson” and not think about it, no more.
