About NYC (2009):"I probably wouldn't have gone to New York so young if it weren't for the films. I was 11, and I remember it distinctly because it was just after 9/11. I was at ground zero, looking at this gallery that had messages and drawings all over the walls. I remember one of the producers gave this great speech while we were there, saying that maybe the reason Harry Potter was so successful, particularly then, was because people really wanted to be uplifted or taken to another place."

Emma Donates Clothes for Charity

Emma Watson donated items of designer clothing to be sold at Vestiaire Collective’s Wardrobe for Women charity sale. Proceeds will support Women for Women International, a charity that helps women survivors from war-torn countries.

“It is with absolute pleasure that I am donating some of my personal clothing to such a worthy cause, Women for Women International. Let’s help raise these funds together to support women around the world who need our help!”

Emma donated a Derek Lam dress, Cristian Louboutin shoes, Stella McCartney sunglasses and Longchamp handbag. Other celebrities donating include Keira Knightley, Olivia Palermo, Lupita Nyong’o and Charlotte Gainsburg. The sale continues through Dec 14 although all of Emma’s items have already sold after just one day.

I wonder how many good deeds this girl would do. She is making me jealous and proud at the same time. Proud to be Emma’s fan

Couldn’t say it better myself…she is just simply a good person, who cares about others more than her own self. Definitely proud to be an Emma fan!!! 🙂
