About the Lancôme ad (2011): "I was involved in the concept for the [ad] film and the tag line "Catch my heart if you can". The hat [in the ad] was my hat, which I bought at a flea market in Paris. I was very involved in the script. It's been really fun for me. It's funny, the guys at Lancôme were like, 'You need to be directing, Emma.' I had ideas about every aspect. I'm sure I drove them insane."

Emma at Museum of Modern Art Film Benefit

Wednesday, November 16th, 2016

Emma Watson attended the 2016 Museum Of Modern Art Film Benefit – Tom Hanks: A Tribute at the Museum of Modern Art in New York on Tuesday. MoMA honored Tom Hanks for being “an enduring star and a steadfast screen presence for more than 30 years. Embodying the decent, hardworking American “everyman” since the early days of his career, Hanks is equally capable in screwball comedies, action films, and award-winning dramas. Beyond his many acting accomplishments—including two Academy Awards—he has stepped behind the camera as director and producer of several acclaimed film and television projects. His versatility often leads to comparisons with such screen icons as James Stewart, Cary Grant, and Jack Lemmon.”

Emma co-stars with Hanks in The Circle due out next April.

More news:

Emma is #28 on Entertainment Weekly’s 30 Under 30 list, their choice of the top 30 actresses under 30. Dan is #29 on the actor list. Thanks to everyone who let us know.

And we have scans of an article about Emma’s Chanel wardrobe from the Mexican magazine Popcorn thanks to HarryPotterLA.

Wolf Spirit sent us this translation:
“Unlike most girls her age, Emma Watson has perfectly clear the style for which she wants to be remembered and that’s non other than Chanel. Yes, the young English 17 year old girl, born in France, who jumped to stardom portraying Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter movies attends all her events wearing designs from the exclusive brand. A great choice, since not only does she manage to look to always look elegant but she also keeps her youthful image with the classic touch that has always distinguished Chanel. And that’s why just because you’re a teenager it doesn’t mean you can’t dress with glamour”.
