Emma Watson’s organic clothing collection with Alberta Ferretti launched today. Called Pure Threads, which reflects its 100% organic cotton composition, the collection consists of two dresses, a long skirt, a blouse and denim shorts and will be sold exclusively online at www.albertaferretti.com.

The clothing line looks lovely, too bad it’s expensive… I wonder if they’ll ever do another clothing line where most of the people can afford it.
Of course that beautiful shirt is $670. Sigh. They’re definitely beautiful clothes, and it’s great that it’s fair trade… but I’m very sad I will never be able to afford any of those.
Once again, Emma is an amazing person for doing this and continuing to promote Fair Trade. I believe it was mentioned that Ferretti’s lines are usually expensive and target different customers than People Tree(in which Emma’s lines were geared more towards teens and young adults). I am sure that one day when Fair Trade becomes more widespread, their products will slowly becomg less expensive. Hopefully Pure Threads is a major success so that we’ll see more lines in the future.
That is the exact opposite of what will happen, did you take simple economics? As the people tree line becomes more widespread, demand will rise and so the price will rise.
Frankly the prices for these clothes are ridiculous, and do not look like they are worth that type of money

news like this about a new photoshoot video last year i would see over 50 to 60 comments on this site each day and now only 10 to 20 comments each day. also the forum(Emma Images and Media section) was big to with(30-50 hits a day) until about 8 months ago. now its (8-25 hits a day) do you see what i mean.

anyway…it’s no secret that Twilight fans now are way more obsessed than Harry Potter fans and that the fans of the HP actors are way less crazy than the fans of the Twilight actors. (I actually doubt they’ve ever been this nuts…)
But looking at the amounts the HP movies make and how huge the premiers still are, I wouldn’t say HP is out. It’s not as dominent in the media anymore bc Twilight took that over, but internationally HP still makes a lot more money than Twilight.
I however noticed that a lot less fans are on the boards since they were changed.
Anyway…once HP is over forever, everything will start anew. Also for the Twilight people, so we will wait and see who everybody will still be talking about in a couple of years.
I agree. Twilight is just a trend. I give it a few years, and it will be “out.” And who care’s who’s out and who’s in, anyway? I don’t like Harry Potter because it’s popular, I like it because it’s a great read. I’m also a bigger fan of Emma now than I’ve ever been, and if you’re on sites like Tumblr, you’ll see that the support for her has not wavered. People still adore her.
But I gotta say…I find Emma’s fashion projects rather boring. Especially this one since noone can afford it except rich people.
Also her interviews when she promotes her fashion project always sound the same. She always says the same things she probably made up in her mind since the first People Tree interview and it just bores me to death.

I think her leaving to the US to study meant that she wan’t pictures out and about that much anymore so people stopped taking an interest in her because they knew there wouldn’t be anything new and now that she’s come back for a bit, people have forgotten about her, I reckon during the deathly hallows promotional tour and when My Week with Marilyn comes out, we’ll see more people coming back.
