The second trailer for the Rogen/Goldberg comedy This is the End has been released. The film stars James Franco, Jonah Hill, Seth Rogen, Jay Baruchel, Danny McBride, and Craig Robinson playing themselves as “six friends trapped in a house after a series of strange and catastrophic events devastate Los Angeles”. Emma Watson, in a cameo role, also plays herself and in a brief scene in the trailer we can see she’s pretty handy with an axe.
This is the End opens June 12.

The original trailer looked cute, but seeing Emma in this 2nd one along with more of the movie absolutely made me love it. Even her brief scene in this made me laugh, and I think if her reviews are good in this that it will open even more doors for her in the future. Don’t F with Emma! 😛

She’s so cool in this trailer… Hermione with an axe! Love it, it seems sort of inspired by Mia Wasikowska’s ‘home wrecker’ short film with the New York Times from a couple of years ago, with the axe. Love it!
Does anyone have scans or a transcribed version of her new GQ interview? It seems like a long one with some new things, but every scan I’ve seen of the text interview is blurry 🙁

Agreed. The line “Hermione just stole all of our shit” is priceless. Really want to see more of her playing an enraged “real life” version of herself. Hope she has more than just that line in the film.

Wow. She is rally starting to appear in a lot of movies now if you think about and this one just makes it even better. Even as the world is ending, she is still incredibly beautiful.

Dook, have you read that yahoo news on the yahoo page about Emma being compared to the actress that played Pretty Woman?? Just giving you a heads up. 🙂
I am not Dook, but I saw it and I think Emma blows it out of the water. The outfits are similar but Emma wears it in a way that is sleeker and sexier — kittenish, as it were. Nothing against the other actress. Maybe she was aiming for something different.
Emma is one badass beauty. :). You can also see her in group shots earlier in the trailer. I wonder if she will be doing any promotion for it or if she will just focus on Bling Ring promotion, as even though it’s a small role she is still billed rather high as seen in the trailer and she’s done promotion for a film in which she had a small rile in before. We’ll have to wait and see.
Andrew, the actress in Pretty Woman is Julia Roberts, whom Emma is a huge fan of, so it was probably intentional as a reference to that film.

I wont be watching this.. Emma was hilarious and wonderful but i really hope she doesnt do films like this in the future.
