Emma Watson has the cover feature in the February issue of Marie Claire UK. Their website features previews of the photoshoot, and some excerpts from the interview. The issue is on newstands now.
The actress, who incidentally is probably the most polite star we’ve ever met, revealed that she’s only recently found the confidence to ignore negative comments from the outside world.
Emma told us: ‘Now I feel a lot more settled in who I am and what I think and how I want to do things. And because I feel good about what I’m doing, I don’t need anyone else to say whether they think it’s good or not.’
In between her impressive movie career (she has three films coming out this year alone) and being the face of both Burberry and Lancome, Emma has managed to fit in a degree in literature at Brown University.
The 22-year-old, who found international fame playing Hermione in Harry Potter, opened up to us about what she really finds important in life. ‘ Friends and family come first and work comes second; that’s just how I live my life,’ she told us.
The actress credits her impressive work ethic to her parents (both lawyers) and a mild streak of OCD. ‘I’m a bit OCD about perfectionism. I’m my own worst critic. I think that’s really hard but it also spurs me on.’
The New Year is almost here! Are you ready with those resolutions? To help you plan all those great things you are going to do in 2013 we have a 12 month Emma Watson calendar made by Rouka for Emma-Watson.net. Click on the cover at the left for a PDF download.
Here are all the individual pages as images.
Voting for the January calendar is now open. I’ve extended the voting because of the delay. Sorry, internet problems. 馃槨
Remember, you only get to vote one time. Do not vote multiple times from different emails, and do not ask your friends to come and vote on your calendar. Let’s keep the competition fair.
Please make sure you write your choices in the order you like them. Your favorite should be first, then next favorite, etc.
Voting is open through January 1, 12:00 GMT.
You could say this whole post was about Lanc么me, and new photos of Emma Watson. The January issue of Elle Belgique and the current issue of Femina both feature images from a photoshoot by Alexi Lubomirsky for Lanc么me.

Updated Layout
Some of you have already commented on the new picture in the banner above. BoMa updated the layout with a new face of Emma. I thought sure I had mentioned before that we would be changing the photo of Emma in the oval now and then to a current look. I guess I forgot though. So, anyway, hope聽 you like the new image.
Holiday Project
Just a reminder, there’s one week left to participate in our holiday project. Don’t wait to the last minute.
