Please give a warm welcome to our new staff member, Milada, winner of the Funky Fashion Competition. Many of you know Milada from the forums (she’s now create?destroy) where she leads The Fashion Forum and can usually be found in any topic in any of the forums where fashion is being discussed. 🙂

We received a lot of great entries for the Funky Fashion competition, but Milada’s excellent knowledge of fashion, and exciting writing style gave her the edge. She’s already hard at work on upcoming FF articles, and we know you’ll love them. A big thank you to everyone who entered. 🙂

Not really Emma news, but the February/March issue of The Saddle Club features a new interview with Rupert grint, where he talks about the recent rumors concering Emma’s decision to stay or leave the HP films:

I heard that Emma Watson might leave the series before it’s over. Do you know the story there?
I’m not actually sure. I don’t really know the details, but I have heard that. I don’t know. It would be weird without her, and it would be a sort of shame if she doesn’t stick it out. It’s not up to me because they do take up so much of your life. I don’t know what she thinks, but I do hope that she doesn’t leave.

Did she say anything while you’ve been filming like, “I can’t take this anymore!”
No, not really. She hasn’t really talked about it. I know me and Dan [Radcliffe] are going to stick it out. So we’ll just have to see really. I hope she doesn’t leave.

Remember, this is just rumors, Emma hasn’t decided anything yet!

We also have a new picture of Emma from HP5. The picture is from a diary the cover of a school calendar that will be released May 15 by the German company Carlsen. Thanks to UHP for the information, and Harry Potter Xperts for the picture. 😆

A new pic of the finished Hermione Action Figure has been released! I have to say it turned out quite well and for the collectors out there, this is definitely a must have. 😛

There will also be new promotional Order of the Phoenix stamps released in France next month 🙂 And yes, one of the stamps includes a new Hermione picture! You can see more images at Poudlard.org

So that was the Hermione news for today. But wait, we’re not done yet! 😛

We’ve added a lot of graphics to the media section and the fans section. Thanks again to everyone for sending these wonderful graphics in.

Hey everyone  😆

Well there’s going to be some changes on the second part of the birthday project. We’ve had a great response to our request for poems and it seems a shame to only use 5 of them. So, we’ve decided not to use them in the World Picture Book. Instead we will have a separate project which will include more of the poems you send in, so now you have a better chance of getting your poem published.

But wait, there’s more. 😛

We know that not everyone is a poet, so we’re giving you visual artists a chance too. We’re adding two more parts to the second project. The best of each will be included with the poems in a second book. 🙂

1. drawings, or paintings, or other hand made art

• they can be of any subject matter, not necessarily of Emma.
• send us a scan, or very clear photo

2. birthday cards

• design your own cards with a birthday message
• the message should be like what you would typically find in a birthday card, not a personal message to Emma
• they can be hand drawn, or by computer
• the card should be a single image, suggested size is 400×600
• we suggest not using pictures of Emma. Don’t you think it would be wierd if you got a birthday card with a picture of you on it?  😉

Reminder: Don’t forget about Part 1 of the Birthday project. We had over 90 countries represented for the Christmas project and we are still missing quite a few countries for this project.
