About the outdoor sets in the Deathly Hallows (2009): "It was so nice to be outside, in the forest and out of the studio - running about. It was so much fun. Because it's such an emotional, heavy film, it was nice to get out and do some action stuff. They were very fun scenes to film. Being out of Hogwarts just makes it really different. It just gives the audience a whole different experience. I'm so excited to see it together."

‘Perks’ Trailer to Air During MTV Movie Awards

Emma Watson has revealed via twitter that the trailer for Perks of Being a Wallflower will debut during the MTV Movie Awards pre-show. In addition, Emma, Logan Lerman and Ezra Miller will be there to present.

The MTV Movie Awards will air live from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California, on Sunday, June 3, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on MTV. Emma is nominated for three MTV Movie Awards this year, including Best Female Performance, Best Cast, and Best Kiss with Rupert Grint for her work in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. Voting is open through June 2.

Yates Out of ‘Your Voice in my Head’

David Yates has confirmed reports that he is dropping out of Your Voice in my Head, the film that would have reunited the director and Emma Watson. Citing personal reasons, Yates said “Unfortunately, due to conflicting schedules and ongoing commitments in the narrow window I was hoping to make this film, it has become no longer possible for me to direct ‘Your Voice in My Head.’ I am sincerely sorry to be leaving such a fantastic project, and I wish producer Alison Owen and everyone involved the very best for what I am sure will be a distinctive film.”‬

No replacement for Yates has been announced but it is likely the project will continue since the producers were unwilling to postpone filming until Yates was available. Emma is reportedly still lined up for the lead role.

Emma Watson, The Make-up Artist

In a recent interview for Glamour UK, Emma discussed her love of make-up. She was quoted saying,“I love doing make-up. I did my mum’s make-up for all her job interviews, and whenever my friends and I go out, I do their make-up too,” Emma even included some advice of her own for readers to enjoy,“I get my eyebrows threaded at Blink in Selfridges or Fenwick. People underestimate the power of an eyebrow. I recently got my friend into pencilling hers in, which she thought was such a strange concept at first.”

The Bling Ring actress also discussed how she often ops for the natural look and likes to keep things simple. She leaves us with some make-up wisdom that appls to girls everywhere,“Don’t listen to everyone. It’s kind of overwhelming, especially with your diet and skincare. You get so many different pieces of advice, you don’t know what to listen to. I think people need to judge what works for them and trust their intuition.”

This is just a snippet of the full article which will be released on June 12th.

Update: I found another great quote from the article! “I love French pharmacies. I’m obsessed – I could spend hours. They take a very medical, pharmaceutical approach to the face. I love the French – less is more look – there’s something very classy about it. It’s so sad when people hide themselves behind too much make-up.” Hearing a little bit more about Emma’s personality and personal life are wonderful! Especially when they come from a reliable source and not just a rumor.

It’s the End of the World

The movie that is.

Variety is reporting that Emma has agreed to play herself in a cameo role in End of the World, a comedy from first time directors Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. If true, she joins a cast including Rogen, James Franco, Jonah Hill, Jay Baruchel, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson, Jason Segel and David Krumholtz all playing themselves. The plot? Franco throws a party at his LA apartment when the Apocalypse hits.

A comedy would be something new for Emma, and may be a nice break between the more serious tones of Perks, Bling Ring, and David Yates’ Your Voice in My Head, scheduled to start filming this summer.

Bling Ring Wraps, Perk Updates Coming

Looks like we won’t be seeing any more from The Bling Ring set. Emma tweeted “Wrapped on the ‘Bling Ring’!! Time to go home! Perks updates soon. : ) X”. I guess that quote a couple weeks ago from Vogue UK of “5 weeks left” was a bit made up.

But she does promise we’ll be getting news about Perks of Being a Wallflower soon. Indeed, it’s already starting. A couple weeks ago Emma put on a screening of Perks, attended by Derek Blasberg among others. He tweeted, “Just leaving a screening of ‘The Perks of Being A Wallflower,’ a sweet, comic tear jerker starring the adorable, fantastic Logan Lerman…And the wondrous @EmWatson, fab as an American teenager. Just as magical on screen without a wand. (And in one scene, not much at all!)“.

And now Blasberg has written a mini review of the movie. Blasberg says of Emma, “her performance as Sam in the film ‘The Perks of Being a Wallflower,’ based on the best selling book by Stephen Chbosky, is going to ruffle a few feathers. One scene in particular, when her character and her slightly outcaste-ish friends put on a production of the Rocky Horror Picture Show, has her wearing only a (conservative, mind you) bra. That alone is enough to get the Harry Potter boys in a tizzy.

The film made me laugh, and yes, it made me cry. (Shut up!) I loved Lerman’s performance, and I was endeared by Miller for reasons that will become apparent when you see the film. And I just adore Emma. It was nice to see her doing something out of the realm of magic. She also does an American accent, which was weird for me to see at first. But not as weird as the aforementioned Rocky Horror scene. Which she looks beautiful in, by the way.
