About the pressure to be thin (2009):"I've never felt the need to be thin; always being very thin isn't pretty. I'm never on a diet. I love cooking and eat. I make excellent raspberry tarts and amaretti (almond pastries)."

A Birthday Card for Emma

Another year has passed and Emma will soon be 21. Emma-Watson.net has done a birthday project for the past 5 years and I think it is a nice tradition to keep up. The simple idea of a birthday card has been the best way that lets the most people participate, so that is what we are doing again this year. You can send in birthday messages, art work, poems, stories, photos or anything else you can think of to say Happy Birthday. If we can print it, we’ll include it in the card. The card will be posted online on Emma’s birthday, and a printed copy sent to her. Let’s make this the biggest project ever!

Seven Potters Behind the Scenes Video

Warner Bros. released a new video with a behind the scenes look at making the seven Potters scene in Deathly Hallows: Part 1. Daniel Radcliffe portrays his own character Harry, as well as 6 other characters, and studied each of the actors to see how they moved and how they said things to make the scene more real. Daniel said portraying Emma as Hermione was one of the easiest characters.

Deathly Hallows – The Final Shot

ABC Family aired another behind the scenes feature today during their Harry Potter Weekend. David Barrons talks about the last day of filming, the last shot of principal photography. The scene is where the trio dives into the fireplace to escape the Ministry of Magic. It was an easy green screen shoot, but a difficult day and an enormous moment.

“It was a very simple shot for them. We did it 2 or 3 times, and then suddenly that was it, that was the end of Harry Potter.”

*New Update* Deathly Hallows: Part 2 previews on ABC Family

It’s another Harry Potter Weekend on ABC Family and the first previews of Deathly Hallows: Part 2 have aired. The first video includes scenes from the film and interviews with Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, David Yates and David Barron. Warning: Spoilers!

The second video, narrated by Jason Isaacs, shows the growth of the Harry and Ginny relationship over the years. It doesn’t really include any Emma/Hermione scenes, but I thought I’d have it to be complete.

Emma Watson and David Yates talks about the Harry/Hermione relationship and the dance in the tent.

Another feature aired on ABC Family. In this one Jason Isaacs talks about who made the Marauder’s Map, something you won’t know if you have only seen the movies. There’s no Emma or Hermione in this one, just adding it to be complete.
