Somehow I find it really hard to believe that that role would have been offered to someone so young as Emma, not to mention someone with her acting history. I don't think casting her in the role of a pregnant young woman right in the midst of Harry Potter would've looked good for anyone involved. These kinds of roles would probably come later, after HP is over and done with.
I'm really waiting for another movie with Emma, and another role than Hermione… She looks so blonde on the scan! That's crazy…

i like her hair better darker, but thats only bc it matches her eyebrows better. i cant wait to see emma in another role, although i dont think thats going to happen any time soon, shes too dedicated to her schooling which is a good thing…

OMG! was she offered taht role?! why did she turn it down! I would really have loved to see her in a new film… Because she is SO talanted, she really diserves more roles. She probably be like the next Julia Roberts or Reese Witherspoon! I BET! 😉
Glad she turned it down, that movie doesn't seem interesting… I can't wait to see her in another role besides Hermione, but, seriously, if she's going to do a movie like that, I rather wait until she finishes HP to see her in another movie 😕

Why are the german magazine companies always photoshopping the photos of Emma? They really shouldn't, its just wrong. Emma is not that blond!!! About the role emma turned down, I don't blame her for turning it down. I mean, it has to be filmed in the middle of the HP movies, it might interfere, and its a pretty big change going from Hermione Granger to Knocked up Pregnant woman in the year 2027.
I'm from Germany and I can say they definetely don't change every photo of her. Just sometimes they do it and please don't ask me why. Perhaps it's just because of the printer.

Oh! I've heard of that film. If it IS true, that she was actually offered a role in it, she would've had the chance to work with Alfonso Cuaron again, which would've been pretty awesome because I just LOVE him and the amazing job he did with PoA. It was the best of the Potter films thus far, IMO. And obviously, which you've probably guessed when I said she get to work with him again, he is director of 'Children of Men'. 🙂
YEAH LOL it's always been like this they ALWAYS change Emma's color well.. uhmm that's a really strange role.. but i would've LOVED to see her in a movie like that!! I mean dan's already done different things and rupert too… now we have to wait for Emma. I'd LOVE to see her in a normal role, like a normal girl with her friends and crushes and everything… thannks a lott

emma's hair is a bit 2 blond (just MO) but german magazines kinda always do that. they just wanna show that the acters and actresses change during the years and they dont care if it looks just fake!!! 😡 and it really does in that pic! i would also love to see emma in a sort of high school kind of movie where she goes shopping and stuff. just wanna know how she would act in there..

oh and btw a) emmas hair is naturally a dirty blond colour she dyes it 4 the films and b) it wasent a stupid thing 2 do cause emma decided that she wanted 2 do the fith film and i doubt she would have time 2 do them both so lets ask again…what would u rather pkus c) emma wants 2 do collage and stuff and do something educational with her life too i mean she loves acting but she is sooo smart she has alot of potential.

i thinkk emma would have been great in that flim…but i dont think that would have been the best movie for her to appear in ( the first movie after hp) it would be quite strange…..emma looks quite different there….peace out 🙂

Her hair is blond, but she has extensions and the tabloid edited her roots, which is why it looks wierd Also, I saw a preview for that film and the woman who plays the part she was offered is about 40yrs old, so itd be a bit bizarre if she had taken the role. And did she get the audition for Soul Surfer? I know thats why she dyed her hair but I didnt hear if she got it or not

That film was real good stuff, vintage Cuaron, and the actress chosen for the pregnant role was also pretty good, but I can't imagine Emma in that role, esp as it involved a bit of skin!! 😉 Would have been an excellent showcase for her talents though.
Seems like Dan and Emma aren't as close as they once were. Whatever. As far as Cuaron, I hope she does work with him in the future. He's brillant and he brought out the best in Emma's acting in POA.
Ripley, I think you need to read the latest Dan interview, he said that his relationship with Emma is how it was back in PoA, which IMO was very close, because we saw all those extra footage of Emma fixing Dan's hair and holding hands, and dancing together, plus he said that he talks more with Emma.
I doubt she was REALLY offered that role and that it's just now rumours since I think the character role is older. Also, that movie looks SO terrific that if she could have been a part of it I really, really wish she had because it would be much better than a story about Bethany Hamilton or whatever the surfer girl's name was.

Anyways, the role she got offered would've been a huge chance to finally be in another movie, but then again, I'm glad she so turned down that role!! Coz, she's just too young to be playing a role like that as a pregnant woman! Anyways, it also would've been great to see her in a different movie anyway! And omg, I so think that Dan & Emma make a good couple in the movie and in real life! Ahaha, cya later everyone! ♥ Ya Emma!!
