Emma has posted a message on her facebook saying she will reveal a new project she is doing. But to find out what it is, we have to decipher clues she is leaving on her twitter. The first clue is up. Can you guess what the new project is?

Almost certain it has something to do with clothes. They’ll pinch if they are worn wrong, but they yearn to be passed on….i.e. handed down. Just betcha:-)

The ‘Hunger Games’ trilogy is a series by Suzanne Collins and The Hunger Games is the first book of this series. A movie adaptation of it is on the way but the main character, Katniss, is not certain right now. I think Emma will be Katniss and this clue is about this. I mean .. I hope so.
Seeing that Lancome’s logo is a rose, this sounds like the most convincing guess to me for now…but let’s wait for the other hints. I don’t know much about Hunger Games, I’ve only read a two line summery, which doesn’t make me think of the hint.

It is Lancome – it was reported not that long ago that she will be the new face of the brand. You can check it on several sites.
I thought it could definatley be Katniss from Hunger Games….and her twitter post could be refering to the symbol of the rose within the book.
These facts below from a website describe the symbol of the rose within the story:
We learn from Finnick, I believe, the secrets of President Coriolanus Snow, to include why his breath smells like blood, namely, “mouth sores that will never heal” (chapter 12, p. 172). Supposedly, the roses he wears are to cover the smell of blood on his breath. And there should be remarkable resurrection imagery, say, something as simple as light shining out of darkness or grander images of a hero rising from the dead or even of a Phoenix, a Rose, or a Red Lion, symbols of the Stone and of Christ, the Light of the World.

Also, She is leaving Brown for a while and explained,”Recently I’ve had so much to juggle that being a student and fulfilling my other commitments has become a little impossible.” So, I think she is working on a project that is going to be very time consuming.
In addition, many fan websites are saying the actresses they want to see play Katniss include: Saoirse Ronan, Demi Lovato, Nina Dobrev, Alexandra Daddario (Percy Jackson, White Collar), Kaya Scodelario, and Emma Watson. There are a ton of rumors in circulation, so this role is a major possiblity.

How much I would love to see her in a new film.. I don’t think it’s that. I mean, she already has a film coming up, and she has to do the promotion of Harry Potter. Do you think she has time for that? Making one single photo takes like one day.
I think she is simply, in a fun way, confirming what has only been rumours so far, that she is the face of Lancome. Hunger Games is due to start shooting when Emma will be filming Perks. It’s the Lancome deal, their symbol is a Rose.
Though I think Emma would do well as Katniss the perfect person for the role imo would be Kaya Scodelario. She is Katniss. So people are probably right about the Lancome but I thought this was already a go. I love Tresor its my favorite perfume always has been.
It was rumoured loads of places but has yet to be actually confirmed. Most of headlines at time were “is Emma Watson new face of Lancome?” or along those lines. All the articles used words like “reportedly signed” as well.
The rumor about Lancome was on many sites, but the only source of the rumor was the daily mail, which doesn’t exactly have a good reputation when it comes to truth. Not saying it’s not true mind you. Even the daily mail gets things right once in a while.
I don’t think it’s the Hunger Games. I’m pretty sure it’s Lancome, because of the rose. You know the thorns will hurt you, but you can pass it on to show someone you love them.
I honestly don’t know how I’d feel if she got the part of Katniss. I love the Hunger Games’ trilogy, and I just don’t think she’d fit the role at all. Of course if it happens I’d still support Emma, but it’d just be really unusual. If you’ve read the book I think you know what I mean.

Emma’s been participating in many projects lately. I can see why she had to take a break from Brown. I love how Emma is leaving us clues and making us guess what the project is. 🙂 My guess is that she is talking about a rose in her first clue. It could be Lancome, as people have mentioned that a rose is it’s symbol, however one thing that goes against it is that the Lancome rumor also claimed that Emma already confirmed and used alleged quotes in the article, yet for this project she won’t come out and say what it is. Then again she probably knows her fanbase doesn’t take the Daily Mail too seriously for the most part, so this maybe just be her way of confirming it directly. Or it could be an entirely different project altogether. We’ll just have to keep an eye on her twitter for more clues.

I checked all her previous movie directors’ IMDB pages; it doesn’t look like any of them are currently starting new projects (at least none that are listed), so I’m thinking it’s probably not a new movie, but more something to do with fashion/photography/modeling!

I agree! Gary Ross produced and wrote the screenplay for The Tale of Desperaux (which ironically I just watched on T.v.) and he’s directing The Hunger Games.
Emma says in her clue “I’ll be seen through a lens that has seen me before” so I assume it The Hunger Games, well I hope so.
Lancome isn’t anything ‘big’ so I don’t think Emma would be making such a big deal about it, but being cast as another famous character would be big news. The only problem I see is that didn’t Emma say she would not want to play in a leading role in another big movie franchise for a while? Hmm, maybe she’s just changed her mind! 😀

I dont think it is Hunger Games, she wasnt even considered as Katniss. I am sure it is Lancome there is the rose clue, the symbole of Lancome, she was semi comfired doing it, the 2. clue shows it is propably something with modelling. I am little disapointed cause they are testing on animals and she was such a green person… It is Lancome, she will be their new face.

I first thought it would be a new movie project as well. The Lancome thing would be quite a small thing compared to all the other stuff that has been going on lately, with two fashion lines, My week with Marilyn and Perks of being a wallflower.
But now there is a new tweet “We share our birthplace…” – pointing to Paris and all those fashion related stuff.
Have to say, I would be dissappointed if it was a campagne for Lancome. I’m just not interested in fashion this much, much less than I am in good films.

I agree with Robin. Emma has stated that she wants to do projects different from Harry Potter, and I feel that the Hunger Games project would be too Blockbuster. I think it’s far more probable that she’s doing Lancome.
