Tresor in Love is a new fragrance from Lancome who’s home is in Paris France. Also a bottle of Tresor in Love Perfume has a rose on it. So Yeah. I believe Lancome is the answere.

I researched this Hunger Games thing a bit and I highly doubt that she will take part in it. These rumors, as far as I understood, just came up because people saw she took time off from Brown and then checked which kind of projects could fit in that timeslot…
All the clues lead to Lancome and I don’t think she would be part of a new movie series, not to mention possible blockbuster series, so soon after HP.

With all the rumours going around about Emma being the new face of Lancôme and the campaign being shot by Mario Testino, I think it’s safe to say that that is her new project. It’s cool but it would be a lot more exciting if it was new role….

Maybe they DO want to chance their image? Going for the “we don’t test on animals”-route and getting Emma to be the face of the change would be a smart move.

It’s never actually been proved that Lancome do test on animals. They got put on the list of companies that do by PETA because it found an instance of Lancomes parent company testing on animals and it got blacklisted because of this.

All animal testing will be completely illegal in Europe by 2013 anyway. All cosmetic companies in Europe who continue after that date will be in breach of European legislation. L’oreal, lancomes parent company has said since 1994 that it doesn’t test on animals, but as I said previously PETA has found otherwise apparently at least once. L’oreal reportedly use man made tissues, and are developing it further, it’s closer to humans and also (so important for these companies) cheaper than using animals. There is no evidence that Lancome ever have though, it’s purely because they’re owned by L’oreal and whether L’oreal have themselves even tested on animals since 1994 is disputed. A lot of it is Internet rumour.

Rumours come from nothing all the time. Remember Emma as the face of Chanel? No truth behind that at all. I could post something about wouldn’t it be great if Emma did the next Tomb Raider movie and in a few days it could be a rumour about Emma is in talks to be the next Lara Croft. Now back to the topic, just because PETA says something doesn’t mean it’s true, or that there is any evidence at all. And how do they prove they don’t do something? If they tried, PETA will just say they are covering up. It’s a no-win for Lancome to respond to them.
But be the new face of Lancôme is not very interesting…If it was a movie … I do not understand why so much mystery Emma.

@jenxa she only said that according to one newspaper. The whole story only came from one newspaper, and others all wrote articles based on that. They all used words like “reportedly signed” and “is Emma Watson face of Lancome?”. They all based it on the Daily Mail article, which is notorious for being inaccurate so everyone took it with a huge pinch of salt, they were also responsible for the Chanel stories! I’m almost stunned this has turned out to be true!!

Prove a negative? That’s a bit silly and is very difficult to do, thats why the legal system is innocent til proven guilty. I dont like big companies at all, least of all cosmetic ones, but im not going to take a bad view of emma due to internet speculation about a company she’s associated with. We’re going to have to agree to disagree I think. Nobody will be able to say Lancome is testing on animals in two years anyway cos it definitely won’t be true then, and it’s only speculation in the meantime.
Everybody thinks “through the lens” is pointing towards a director or a photographer. Technically it can’t be the director of one of her former movies, but the cameramen who worked on them. This prolonges the list quite a bit, and while it is pretty easy to find out what project a well-known director is planning, it’s much harder for those other people from the crew.

Tiffany & Co is a jewelry company, and they have a lot of heart shaped items. Maybe Emma just had a favorite necklace like that and added it to her drawing.
The second clue about the lens could be interpreted to mean Testino.
Maybe it’s just wishful thinking, but at the moment I’m leaning towards The Hunger Games, simply because I thought the Lacome deal had been confirmed.

If it is going to be Lancome, they shouldn’t have made such a fuss about it in retrorespect. So many fans here not supporting it / not being interested in it.
And with the “quote” in Daily Mail this riddle doesn’t even make sense, because people go “hey, that was confirmed before, what’s the news?”, even if the quote was made up.
So she’s not allowed have a bit of fun when confirming her news? That she’s going to be the face of such a huge global beauty brand previously fronted by Kate Winslet and Julia Roberts is very big news, even if there were some rumours previously in a paper than nobody ever believes! it might not be as interesting as if say she announced she was in an indie movie, but globally it’s much bigger news.
Sure she is allowed to have some fun with it, and yes, it is big news that will make her more well known among people who didn’t watch Harry Potter (something I wrote about in the forums when the rumours first came up), but I was referring to the comments here.
Some are critisising this career move, because of animal testing that MIGHT have taken place, some say “that was confirmed ages ago” (even if it wasn’t) and others just aren’t interested (like me :P).

Thats really unlikely, as its highly doubtful that any publication would work with anyone like that despite how good of a joke it would’ve been. And besides, in retrospect this could’ve hurt the brand that is Lancôme by cheapening the name and making it seem less luxurious. If this should turn out to he a hoax both the Daily Mail and Emma could face serious legal charges from Lancôme.
