The CBS affiliate in Pittsburgh captured some footage during filming of Perks of Being a Wallflower. If you’ve read the book, I think this scene is where Sam (Emma Watson’s character) climbs in the back of the pickup and stands up while Patrick (Ezra Miller) drives very fast through a tunnel. Landslide is playing on the tape player, they burst out of the tunnel and see the downtown lights, and Charlie (Logan Lerman) feels they are all “infinite”.

Yeah, if you’ve read the book, you will know this scene is so brilliant! My most favorite from the book. Sam is so lively and beautiful in the back of her truck against the wind. I believe Emma will be fantastic doing it!
This is one of my favorite part of the book.
It’s just brilliant and that quote: “And in that moment, i swear we were infinite” is stuck in my head since forever.

Emma’s stunningly beautiful as always. 🙂 Though that is potentially dangerous, as she would distract many drivers which could lead to accidents. 😛 We’ve been getting a lot of material from the filming of Perks recently.

Since many of the people on here said it’s a good book I just bought Perks of being a Wallflower. Hope I’ll enjoy it just as much as most of you did 🙂
And at the end of the clip you can see that someone is with Emma in the back of the pick-up truck, so maybe that person was holding her ankles of whatever, just making sure she wouldn’t fall 😉
