Saturday, May 25th, 2013Emma Watson is nominated for “Choice Movie Actress: Drama” in this year’s Teen Choice Awards for her role in The Perks of Being a Wallflower. The film itself is nominated in the “Choice Movie: Drama” category, and co-star Logan Lerman gets a nod for “Choice Movie Actor: Drama”. Winners are chosen by popular vote, and will be announced in a live ceremony, August 11 on FOX.
Voting is open through August 11 to teens (13-19) who are legal residents of the US. You must also register on their site to vote.
Emma Nominated for 3 MTV Movie Awards
Wednesday, March 6th, 2013Emma Watson is nominated for “Best Female Performance” in the 2013 MTV Movie Awards for playing Sam in The Perks of Being a Wallflower. She is also nominated for “Best Musical Moment” along with co-stars Logan Lerman and Ezra Miller for the Come on Eileen dance scene, and also for “Best Kiss” with Logan. Ezra is nominated for “Breakthrough Performance” for his role as Patrick. Voting is open now. The ceremony will air Sunday April 14.
Perks Blu-ray & DVD Release, Signing
Saturday, February 9th, 2013The Perks of Being a Wallflower comes out on DVD and Blu-ray this Tuesday, February 12, in the US. A DVD signing to celebrate the release will be held at The Grove in Los Angeles, with writer/director Stephen Chbosky. We are waiting for confirmation of any cast members who will attend.

The other nominees for the award were Charlize Theron, Kiera Knightley, Rachel McAdams, and Meryl Streep. Perks received the win for Favorite Dramatic Movie. Emma Wins Best Supporting Actress – San Diego Critics Awards
Wednesday, December 12th, 2012The awards season will soon be here, and various film critic groups are voting their favorites from this years films. Emma Watson is being recognized for her role in The Perks of Being a Wallflower and so far has one win for Best Supporting Actress, one runner-up and two nominations yet to be decided.
San Diego Critics Awards
Emma won “Best Supporting Actress” for her role in The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Other nominees were Amy Adams, Anne Hathaway, Rebel Wilson and Samantha Barks. Emma and castmates were also recognized for “Best Ensemble Performance”.
Boston Society of Film Critics Awards
Emma was runner-up for “Best Supporting Actress”. Sally Field won by one vote for her role in Lincoln. Ezra Miller took “Best Supporting Actor” for his role in Perks.
St Louis Film Critics Association Awards Nominations
Emma is nominated for “Best Supporting Actress” along with Amy Adams, Ann Dowd, Sally Field, Anne Hathaway and Helen Hunt.
Phoenix Film Critics Society Nominations
Emma is nominated for “Best Actress in a Supporting Role” along with Judi Dench, Sally Field, Anne Hathaway and Helen Hunt.
