From her 9th (!) she play in the Harry Potter Movies, but now Emma is more than a wizard child Hermione. She is a style icon, model and a brilliant student.

Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson: It sounds so chic.

The actice is born in Paris as a first child of 2 lawyers. When they got divorced Emma was 5 and moved with her mother and her younger brother Alex to the British town Oxford. Once in England Emma got the fond of acting. There she got into a special school for creative’s and there she worked on her singing, dance and acting. She got her first part when she was nine. And it was a big one in the first part of Harry Potter, Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone. In Magazine Interview Emma says: ‘The producers of the movie went to my school. Teachers could choose 20 student, I was picked and they took a picture of me. 3 Weeks later I got called that I could come to audition. I didn’t have to think one second, I was a big fan so I was up to it.’
 
Dreamrole
Then she had 8 auditions. “I was very scared that I wouldn’t get the part”. “There was a girl who had done a movie before. Then I thought I would never get the part. And I wanted it so badly. From the first audition I knew it belonged to me. As weird that that might sound”.
 

Hard to get
Now-a-days Emma has done 6 Harry Potter movies, where she got a ton of money (10 million pounds). Emma says in Parade Magazine: “If I knew at the first audition that this would get so big, I probably would have sucked because I would have totally freaked out.” Hermione is now transformed from a brave shy girl to a smart young women who beats up ‘the bad guys’, but nevertheless can also gracely wear a nightgown.

But despite the loving reviews she get she was still doubting whether to go on with the last parts (part 7 1,2). Emma: “It was a very important decision to make, because it meant 4 more years of Harry Potter.”
 

To University
With the big money on her account Emma never has to work again. Last year she was on the number six of the list of the youngest most rich stars in business magazine Forbes. Still she keeps both feet on the ground. Smart Emma studied during her long days on set and got even A’s and B’s. Just a study like Hermione. After she graduated from college she took a break year, but not for long: “After I finished the Harry Potter movies I will definitely go to university” she said in Interview. “Nobody understands that I would just give up on this. But I have been doing this since I was nice. Nobody knows what they want to be at nine? But I have no plans yet. And if there will be a Harry Potter reunion in 10 years I will definitely be there.”

Fashion
Emma is currently doing a lot in fashion. You can see her a lot in fashion magazines and she is in the same modeling agency as Kate Moss. And this fall she will be the face of the Burberry campaign. There was also a rumor that she would be the face of Chanel which is her favorite brand. She is seen front-row at Chanel, wears a lot of Chanel dresses and is friends with Karl Lagerfeld. Emma; “I see fashion as a way of art. Others can see by your clothes who you are. I don’t buy too much designer stuff. There are some good pieces in my closet, but I don’t have a lot of opportunities to wear them. If I have to go to a premiere I will borrow something. Then you have to bring it back on 12 o’clock just like Cinderella. To buy a dress like that is way to expensive.”

Emma doesn’t really spend her money like a maniac. “The first thing I bought of my earned money was a laptop. And then a trip for me and my father to Tuscany. Oh, and my car last year. I bought a Prius, an environment car. Such a boring choice haha. Daniel and Rupert call it ‘such a Hermione thing to do’ I might have more in common with her then I thought.”

July 4
TheSpanish network CANAL+ will air a 42-minute long special on Half-BloodPrince Saturday, July 4. Host Cristina Teva will talk to stars DanielRadcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, Jessie Cave, Bonnie Wright, TomFelton, Michael Gambon and director David Yates on the set.

July 5

The London premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will be broadcast live from Leicester Square on July 7th starting at 6pm GMT at this link.

TheUS premiere will take place at Ziegfeld Theater, 141 West 54th Streetin New York City, Thursday July 9th. Celebrity arrival is at 6:00 pmET, with the screening starting at 7pm.

ABCFamily has another Harry Potter weekend. And again they are promisingbrand new looks at Half-Blood Prince. Hopefully it won’t be the same”new looks” we saw last year.

July 11 and 18
The Space channel in Canada will air Beyond the Screen: Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince,a behind the scenes look at the movie, including interviews with EmmaWatson, Rupert Grint, and Daniel Radcliffe. The program will air in twoparts, on Saturday July 11 and Saturday July 18 at 10am ET.

July 17, 18
The episode of Friday Night with Johnathon Ross with Emma airs on BBCAmerica, July 17 at 8 and 11 pm, and again on July 18 at 1am.
